Polymer Engineering has been designing and building truck bodies for many years. Our clients range from sole operators to multinational companies such as Envirowaste, Waste Management, Bucher Municipal. Our non-corrosive, high-impact resistant, 100% recyclable bodies are so lightweight that owners are able to increase their payload, get better mileage, reduced wear, and tear. Often the owner can reduce the truck size and the road user charges. All of these advantages for a standard diesel truck really come into play when an owner converts the truck into an electric vehicle. Polymer Engineering recently project managed, designed and delivered projects for Envirowaste. Multiple fleets of Cal Isuzu FSD 700 trucks were convert to EV trucks by Sea Electric and were delivered to Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, and the Waikato for food and glass waste collection. We are also building Trucks Palmerston North Council.
